Great value and location!
We had a wonderful relaxing stay thank you. Our aim was to chill out and do nothing and thats exactly what we did - in a lovely comfortable apartment. Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Great Location and Comfortable Stay!
Loved the layout of the apartment, it had everything we needed and more! Handy location, only this missing is an outdoor spa which would be great for winter and exciting for the kids. Definitely would recommend and stay again!

David and Diana were very friendly and offered us a great rate (business had quietened down and they started their winter rates early so we only paid $240 a night) for a 3 bedroom apartment right next to the pool, with its own terrace with direct access to the street - which was right across the road from the beach. The views were amazing.
The apartment is very modern and beautifully clean. A huge huge spa bath in the ensuite and a full laundry in the separate second bathroom.
The pool area was immaculate and heated (thank goodness- it rained for our first day) and the kids swam there 2 or 3 times a day. It was the perfect apartment for kids as they could just come straight inside from the pool (and the beach) and not have to traipse throughout the building. We originally wanted an apartment on the next floor for better views but the one we had suited us much better for the above reasons.
The kitchen was fully fitted out - and also had a dishwasher. There was also a great range of pots/pans/bowls/serving dishes etc which are so often lacking in places like this. We even had our own BBQ on the terrace.
It was about a 20 mins walk to the base of the Mount where there are several coffee shops/cafes. And even quicker to the main street behind the hotel. Big supermarket a 2 minute drive away (Central parade). There was even a spot to wash your car (a great treat coming from Sydney where you arent allowed to do that anymore).
A great place to stay- cant recommend it highly enough! I loved that we could walk anywhere...to shops, to restaurants, to "the Mount." The beach right across the street was magnificent with a span of sand and ocean and rocks as far as we could see. The two bedroom second floor unit we had was nicely decorated, comfortable and spacious for our family of three adults and two children. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very clean. Manganui Marvel!" drmrussellphd california Jan 28, 2008 Oh boy- you will adore this marvelous hotel in Mt. Manganui, North Island, New Zealand. We had a HUGE 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment right on the beach (you do have to cross the road with almost no cars to get to your personal, uncrowded absolutely pristine beach). My god, this place was quite a find- the master BR was huge with a jacuzzi and the kitchen was perfect with all the amenities. The living room was huge and beautifully decorated with floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean. Manganui was the best little town- fun shopping and increidble food (best was 2 Small Fish for dinner and lunch or dinner at Zeytin). Absolutely outstanding experience. Perfect for families or groups. Oh- the best part is that our 3 BR gem cost about 270$ American per night- try finding such value and charm in the states...good luck on that! Please go- you will love it.

We were glad we did, as the area is super. A great beachside town, nice atmosphere, super beach, nice pubs, restaurants. It is a great little resort on its own right.
Belle Mer is right on the beach, car parking on site, so no problems there. We had a 2 bed apartment (only needed 1)
Bathroom was super as it had a great whirlpool bath, which I used twice a day! Nice feature.
Lounge area was large, TV, stereo, DVD. Great size.
No restaurant facilities on site, but walk 20 minutes (and it is 20) to the main cafe area on the beachfront for a great breakfast - there are 6 cafes to choose from.
Pool is fine, limited sun getting into this area, but a welcome relief on a hot day.
Some building construction works from next-door-but-one - They start at 0700 am! We had booked only days prior but still received an upgrade to a top floor apartment with beautiful fixtures and fittings throughout.
Our kids especially loved the new big TV and the spa bath!
The apartments are handily situated to get to both the beach(of which we had great views) and the town(c200m) to get food and other supplies. They had great facilities which all looked brand new.
Well done to the owners who have made every effort to provide a quality place to stay at an affordable price.
